I'm a lone knight atop a dark cliff...

Ok not really but it really seems like it sometimes.

If you've ever tried to create something from scratch then you know how intimidating, and lonely, the whole process can be. I mean, you start with nothing. NOTHING! And then you have to make it into something good. It's not easy. Do you play it safe, sort of, and try to be like everyone else who's been successful, or do you make it truly your own, and original, and risk being ridiculed? I don't know about you but I didn't live my whole life (so far) just to try to be someone else. What a waste. So I'm going to make this how I want it to be and if everyone hates it then good for them.

Thing is, no one hates it. They actually really like it...so far.

We've field tested some of Marcus's music and a little bit of his story and all of the feedback so far has been SUPER positive! I don't know if the world is ready for his entire body of work because it is MASSIVE but I'm going to find out.

When?

Ok here's the plan. I can't tell you how many books there are because finding that out is part of the story. I'm on pace to be done with the first drafts in just over a year. Yeah, I know, but you have no idea how hard it is to transcribe an entire book, write your own essay to go with it, enter all of the music into notation software and get it all perfect, and add the artwork. Plus, when all of the drafting is done, I'll need to make sure everything is perfect before I release the first one to the public. That's going to take awhile too. I'm planning to release the first one in...wait for it...

I'll keep you posted. I work on it every night, I promise. There's no way I'm going to quit after all the work I've put in. Ever heard of cut loss fallacy? I'm not cutting my losses here, because this work isn't a loss. It's a cumulative victory, and, I'm going to share it with you. I'll even add an email soon. Be patient.
